Privacy
What this site keeps, and what it doesn’t.
Downloads work either way. Advertising measurement follows your region and privacy choices; our separate aggregate counts don’t record who you are.
This website
coherencebrowser.com is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare and loads its fonts from itself. To count visits it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites and doesn’t build a profile of you. Cloudflare, like any web host, sees the requests your browser makes in order to answer them.
Your privacy choice
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Ads measurement is off until you choose Accept. A small card asks on the home page; on a direct visit to another page, measurement stays off and you can use Privacy choices to allow it. Outside these regions, measurement is allowed by default unless you have rejected it. If we cannot determine your region and have no saved choice, measurement stays off.
Cloudflare determines the region from the incoming request; our browser script receives only the region group, not your country or IP address. We remember an explicit Accept or Reject on this website for up to 180 days using local storage. A saved rejection always overrides the regional default. This preference does not give permission to track your activity on other Coherence websites or in the native app.
When measurement is allowed, we load the Google tag and allow advertising cookies to help measure how people discover Coherence and start a browser download. Google receives information such as the page and advertising click identifiers, and sees network information such as your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts it. This download event does not upload your email or phone number, and does not enable personalised advertising or remarketing.
After an allowed download starts, this tab’s session storage remembers an opaque transaction ID for that file, so refreshing or retrying the link does not queue another event in the same tab. A download that needs acceptance but starts before you accept is not sent later. An outside-region download may wait briefly for the region lookup before being measured, without delaying the actual file. A download event is not proof that you installed or opened the app.
You can reopen the small card using Privacy choices below or in the footer. Rejecting stops future download conversion events, updates Google’s consent state and removes this site’s first-party Google advertising cookies. It cannot undo data Google already received. Learn how Google uses information and read Google’s privacy policy.
Downloads
When you download Coherence, or the app downloads an update, we add one to a count kept by day, by version and by country. The country comes from Cloudflare’s network. We don’t store your IP address, your browser’s details or anything else that could identify you in these aggregate counts. They are separate from the optional Google measurement above.
Update checks
Coherence fetches a small signed file from this site when it opens and once an hour after, to see whether there’s a new version. Those requests aren’t counted or logged by us.
Your Coherence account
If you sign in to save to your library or use the AI tools, your account is covered by the Coherence privacy policy. Native first-open advertising events continue to require existing eligible consent on that account; this website’s download preference is not copied into your account.
